REPORTS TO: Education Manager

SALARY RANGE: $25 to $32 hourly rate (based on 35 hours a week)

K’ómoks First Nation (KFN) is looking for a motivated and self-directed Post-Secondary & Advanced Skills Coordinator to help empower the future of our community through education and training!

As KFN progresses toward self-governance under Treaty, we are shaping an education framework that supports lifelong learning and self-sufficiency. If you’re an organized, relationship-focused professional who thrives on making a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Champion Education and Training for KFN Members!
  • Support members in pursuing post-secondary education and workforce training.
  • Help applicants navigate educational opportunities and financial assistance.
  • Coordinate skills training that boosts employment and career growth.
  • Partner with institutions and organizations to expand learning options.
  • In collaboration with the Education Manager, manage budgets, track success, and promote scholarships and resources.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A degree or diploma in Education, Business Admin, Counselling, or similar
  • 3+ years of experience in administration or coordination (equivalent experience considered)
  • Knowledge of Indigenous communities and experience working with youth/adults
  • Top-notch communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Tech-savviness with Microsoft Office (and a creative eye for Canva/social media is a plus!).
  • A valid BC Driver’s License and access to reliable transportation.
