You’re Invited: Fish Trap Sampling
Join the KFN Archaeology Team to learn about archaeological sampling, which can teach us about fish traps’ age, wood species, and manufacture techniques.
The least destructive way to learn in this case is to collect (cut) the tops of the stakes rather than excavate them – with precise, controlled documentation and record-keeping for each sample.
